CRUST:
1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons butter
1 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional
dash salt
Filling:
1 8oz. package cream cheese, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup whipped topping
Third Layer:
1 cup sugar
4 tablespoons cornstarch
2 cups water
1 3oz. package peach jello
7-10 fresh peaches, sliced
For Crust: Crumble crust ingredients and press in a 9" x 13" buttered baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Cool. For Filling: Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar, fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust. For Third Layer: Mix sugar and cornstarch. Add water and cook until thickened. Add jello and cool. Slice peaches and sitr into jello. Spoon over cream cheese layer and cool. Top with whipped topping and chopped pecans.
Variations:Instead of peaches, try fresh strawberries and bananas or blueberries and bananas with a complementary jello flavor.
